This report was written by Mina Zekri, the media and outreach officer of the EIPR. Dr. Alaa Ghanaam, the director of the EIPR’s Health and Human Rights Program, reviewed and edited the document and wrote the preface and the introduction; Soha Abdelaty, the deputy director of the EIPR, and Hossam Bahgat, the executive director, both reviewed the final copy.
